PriceProof builds a native Shopify automatic discount for each window you schedule. Shopify owns the discount object, so the campaign starts and ends on Shopify's clock — not on ours.

What it deliberately does not do
- It does not edit product prices. Variant prices, compare-at prices and feeds stay exactly as they are. The discount is applied at checkout.
- It does not run on a price-change schedule. That mode was retired; discounts are the supported path because Shopify executes them rather than us.
- It does not ask for your whole catalog. It reads the products it assesses and writes the badge there.
Honest boundary: if our hosting disappears, existing discount windows still run and end, because Shopify holds them. What stops is the app screen and the ability to create new windows.
